To access the U.S. Pharmacopeia and National Formulary (USP-NF), you will need to register and set up your own login credentials.
Step 1: If you already have a USP Access Point account, please go to Step 3.
Step 2: Create a USP Access Point account. Upon creation of your account, an activation link will be sent to your email account for confirmation. (Note: the email may end up in your Junk folder).
Step 3: Contact the Health Library to obtain a subscription key and add it to your USP Access Point account.
Access: Access USP-NF by entering your login information.
To access the European Pharmacopoeia (EP), you will need to register and set up your own login credentials.
Step 1: Contact the Health Library to obtain an account.
Step 2: You will receive an e-mail with a registration link. (Note: the email may end up in your Junk folder). Click on the registration link. Enter your email address (which will serve as your username), complete the captcha, and click on “Next”.
Step 3: If you already have an account, your pre-filled profile information will be displayed. If you do not have an account yet, fill in your profile information. Click on “Register”.
You will then receive two emails:

To access the EP, click on “Sign in” on the right side of the menu bar and login with your email address and password.

To access the British Pharmacopoeia (BP), you will need to register and set up your own login credentials.
Step 1: On the registration page, enter your HC or PHAC email address in lower case letters only and other required information and click “Check Now”.
Note: You may no longer share accounts or use a shared mailbox email address to register. Each user must have their own individual login.
Step 2: Fill out the required information and click “Register”.
Step 3: You will receive an e-mail with a confirmation link. (Note: the email may end up in your Junk folder). Click on the confirmation link.
Note: To ensure you’re still affiliated with your organisation, you will be asked to re-verify your email every six months.
Access:
To access the BP, click the “Login” button at the top right of the screen and enter your email address (in lower case letters only) and password.
Our subscription allows a maximum of 5 users to access BP simultaneously. Please log out when you are not actively using BP.
